
Masala Papad Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 Richbite papads
- 1 medium-sized tomato, finely chopped
- 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
- 1 small cucumber, finely chopped
- 1 green chilli, finely chopped (optional)
- Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying (if using fried papad) or you can roast the papad
Prepare the Papads:
You can either roast the papads on an open flame or microwave them until they are crisp. If you prefer, you can also deep-fry them in hot oil until they are golden and crisp. Set aside.
Prepare the Topping:In a bowl, mix the chopped tomato, onion, cucumber, and green chilli. Add the chaat masala, red chilli powder, lemon juice, and salt. Mix everything well.
Assemble the Masala Papad:
- Place the prepared papad on a serving plate.
- Evenly spread the prepared topping mixture over the papad.
- Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
Serve:
Serve immediately as a crunchy and flavorful snack.
